We need some people who act with passion instead of the sour yankee attitude. God, that would be so much fun!

9. Our Celebrty Marshal was Leslie Jordan, our Honorary Marshal was |
|
Cpl. Clara Dunkin, who was killed in action in 2007, and our Grand Marshal was Tim McFeeley
"Our Grand Marshal for 2008 is Tim McFeeley. A lawyer, writer, manager, and strategic consultant, McFeeley received his bachelor's degree from Princeton University and his J.D. from Harvard Law School. McFeeley practiced law in Boston for 17 years, notably as corporate counsel for National Medical Care, Inc. In Boston, McFeeley was active in civic and political activities and served on the boards of directors of Gay & Lesbian Advocates and Defenders and Boston Aging Concerns. Tim was a founder of both the Boston Lesbian and Gay Political Alliance and Baystate Democrats. He was a member of Boston's Ward Five Democratic Committee and served as its chairman from 1984-88. McFeeley was the principal draftsman of Boston's Human Rights Ordinance. From 1989-95, McFeeley served as Executive Director of the Human Rights Campaign Fund (HRCF), a federal political action committee and lobbying organization that advances the cause of civil rights for gay and lesbian Americans."

|
That's cool! What a great talent...so much more than his appearances on "Will and Grace". :-)
And that's great that Cpl. Dunkin was honored...and Tim McFeeley has done some great work for the LGBT community. Sounds a great parade!

Seriously, every Pride parade should hire Sniffa to collect money. The boyz loved him. He must have pulled in a few hundred in the first bucket load, at least. :D

But then again, with the rising ticket prices, your route may have to be 12 miles. :D

29. Oh yes! it was fantastic! We got there early, and we |
|
helped the Obama people inflate a brazillian helium balloons, got our Obama Pride shirts, and off we went! I held a sign, balloons, a bucket, and gave out stickers while we marched. Once we got to the end, we took a group pic with our huge rainbow flag, and then we walked all around the booths. MassEquality gave us two awesome free shirts (the front says "First there was marriage..." Heehee) and then I got the kickass shirt I'm wearing now, which is from Human Rights Campaign, it has two blue donkeys kissing and says VOTE. :D
Then we signed up for Young Democrats work, and hung out, then we hit a local pub and drank and ate with some hilarious lesbians from Central MA.
Good times. :)
