Anyone do ceramic or wood restorations?

I don't know why I never thought of this. I've done bigger projects, cupboards, tables, etc, and I love it. I am going to go to some yard sales and buy some junk and learn how to restore it. Anyone have any good books or sites or tips or anything? I live in a wealthy retirement town and there's got to be tons of people who would pay good money for this sort of thing, don't you think?
