A Journey Back
Edited on Sun Jun-15-08 09:01 PM by PeaceNikki
If you missed this on CBS Sunday AM a few weeks ago, it's a great story. Journey found its newest lead singer on YouTube and he sounds more like Steve Perry than Steve Perry ever did. He's from the Philippines and was just a fan. And homeless for a while.

It's a beautiful story of a guy with a fantastic heart who lives a dream. If you take a few minutes to watch it, I am sure you'll see the beauty. Other band members say "he makes me a better person". :)

2. I saw this story on CBS Sunday Morning when it originally aired ...
I had it on in the background as I was still sleeping because I thought it was the original singer. They found a great replacement.

3. They did. AND he's a neat guy. The story about telling immigration at the airport
that he was there to audition for Journey made me smile.

5. Cool
He has a great voice and such a humble soul. I used to like Journey. I hope that Steve Perry is okay. Where-ever he is.
