I know this guy from work that shoots at roadsigns in Nevada from a moving car for fun
Edited on Mon Jun-16-08 12:14 AM by CreekDog
he works here in San Francisco, white collar job, older fellow, crew cut --hmmmm.... i found this out because one day i was talking to him and mentioned that i'd be out in the middle of nowhere in Nevada (lots of possibilities there!) and you pass a roadsign and see where it's been shot up. i was about to tell him, like, what the hell is wrong with these people but before i could, he starts telling me how he does this. i mean, who shoots a gun out the car window? (except for Southern Californians of course :hide:)

if you are going to mess with a road sign, do something safer and more clever, like this one in Nevada (near Area 51):

3. We used to deface stop signs
My fave was the one we did on my street. We made it read "STOP The Patriarchy!"

Khash.

4. You just have to hope for a good ricochet
There is fun with guns, and there is idiocy with guns. This is the latter.

5. "God damn prunepickers!"

So said my dad about people with CA license plates, many years ago.

He preferred chasing jackrabbits across the desert, firing out the window. RIP.

11. Twenty percent is the standard,
if the "service" was adequate. More than 20 percent, though, is udderly outrageous. :P

9. Typical Gun Pusher mentality - guns are safe, shoot all you want
Those bullets have to come down somewhere. If someone out in the desert on a hike, horse, or a 4WD takes a bullet, I hope they come look your friend up.

This is why guns need to be strictly regulated. Most, if not all, private citizens in this country do not need ready access to guns.

12. who shoots a gun out the car window?
I know, I live in So Cal (Silver lake, L.A.) and I always stop and get out of my car before I blast a road sign with my AK-47. I don't like the spent shells in my Audi. Oh, yeah, I have a tiny penis too.

And, I can't even remember seeing a shot up sign around here. Makes 'em great practice though.

13. People around here paste red dots on the noses
of the outline of the deer on 'deer crossing' signs. Especially in December.

14. I grew up in a town of 3000 people.
Most of our stop signs said Stop Teasing Our Police.
