Did anybody watch Galactica finale? SPOILER ALERT
the hidden four reveal was great with the airlock showdown, and the emotional breakdown of Adama.

I didn't expect the post-apocalyptic earth. I thought it would either be cavemen or the present.

Are you still with the show when it comes back in January?

1. I've invested 5+ years into it so far
so, I'm sure I'll be watching the last half of this last season.

There were a few other threads on the mid-season finale if you wanted to search for them.

3. Like? Will Tyrol figure out that Tori killed Callie? It seems like the final five mostly have free
will but Tori is using her Cylon status as an excuse to become a bitch, kind of like Lucifer, an angel that falls from the grace of god.

4. remember hybrid's words: "Kara Thrace will lead mankind to her doom"
Maybe she meant doom in the past tense.

5. like cycle of seasons myths where the king must die to renew crops--except it's most of mank
in this case, it's 99% of mankind.

6. I thought the hybrid's exact words were
Lead the human race to its end...

End could mean "end of their journey" in addition to "end of their existence"

8. I thought it was "harbinger of doom"
and "harbinger of end" sure doesn't make a lot of sense.

exact quote found at link above:

edited to add:
whose death? death of the cylons because of the resurrection ship's destruction maybe?

which end? end of the human race, end of the cylons? end of earth? or just the end of their journey?

13. Kara Thrace will lead the human race to its end.
Kara Thrace will lead the human race to its end. She is the herald of the apocalypse. The harbinger of death. They must not follow her.

14. "End" could mean that the "end" already occurred and they were
led to it. The final scene tends to back up that interpretation.

9. Oh sure, I'll keep watching it.
I liked the nuclear winter twist. Very cool, and ballsy by the writers.

Where are they supposed to be? Was that NYC?

So what happens next? Do they have to find yet another planet?

19. Maybe it wasn't *our* Earth
there were no recognizable continents when they showed it from space. Last season when they showed Earth you could clearly see North America.

22. You may be right. I'm thinking there is going to be a time travel element involved.
If so, I hope it's done right. Otherwise, it could be a really lazy way out.

18. Sure it's post-apocalyptic, but *which* apocalypse?
I'm concerned that they're in our super-distant past, after some fictious super-society blew itself to shit.

No reason for me to think that, other than a fear of "please, not that!"

21. No, I'm not still with it in January. The only reason I started watching this year is
that I was under the false impression that the final season would simply run without interruption. Outside of Callie's death and a few moments in the most recent episode. The rest of the year was an intolerable bore.

I'll wait until the fifth Cylon is revealed and for someone to spoil it. I can't imagine there would be much of interest other than that over all the episodes that remain.

If you could have told me before the season started that Callie would die and they'd find Earth but that it would be little more than an ashtray, I could have saved hours of suffering. Each week I said to myself "c'mon, this HAS to get better," and almost every week the show proved me wrong.

When I compare this past season to the first two, it makes me want to scream. This show used to be so fucking good and now it's a sleep aid.
