Poll question: Where do you place bumper stickers on your car?
Edited on Mon Jun-16-08 02:21 PM by DeposeTheBoyKing
I have an Obama sticker I want to put on my MINI Cooper. I hate to put it on the paint, but I have a rear window defroster, and I've always heard those can be fried with stickers put over them. I guess I could tape it on the inside. What do you do (if you even put bumper stickers on your car)?

2. Do you tape it on the inside or put it on the outside?
I have put bumper stickers on cars before, but I'm very protective of my MINI and don't want to damage the paint/glass/whatever.

9. Nor mine. Also, if someone has 16 of them on their car, you KNOW that's
absolutely NOT someone you want to have a conversation with, for any reason.

6. What about the rear window defroster, though?
Of course, we live in Texas, so I rarely need to use it!

11. I don't do bumper stickers often; usually only during a Presidential
campaign. Then I put it in the back window of the car.

12. I live in a RED part of Virginia and I put mine on magnetic backing
before I put them on the bumper. That way I can take them off when I go to work. I use an Obama sticker in combination with others such as "One People, One Planet, One Earth" or "The Most Violent Element in Society is Ignorance"-Emma Goldman. You can get magnetic backing at www.northernsun.com if you are interested.:-)

13. Okay - I ended up putting it on the outside of the glass on the lower right side
I live in Valley Ranch (section of Irving near Dallas) - we'll see if I get pulled over. I do see lots of Obama stickers around here, relatively speaking. I do still see the odd "W04" stickers and have to shake my head every time. I just saw one today at the dreaded Wal-Mart (I know, I know - I was picking up a prescription for Mr. DTBK, and I do love the Sam's Choice flavored water) - at least I was wearing one of my "Friends Don't Let Friends Vote Republican" shirts.

17. I usually tape them in the back window
but I have an unpainted plastic bumper (painted, body matching bumpers only came on the upgraded version of my car, which is fine by me because paint on a bumper is bound to get messed up eventually) so I can stick them on and remove them with relative ease.
