4. it's somewhat noble, i guess? |
|
she feels that because we went through so much together i deserved to hear it directly from her rather than through the grapevine. the truth is, though, this one i would have preferred it that way.
that or she really just despises me despite telling me she wants to be my friend.

5. Heh, my ex didn't even bother to tell me... I just figured it out from various things she said |
|
on her livejournal.
And while I certainly don't want her back after the last breakup, I do worry about her a little. She's one of those people who is just incapable of being single. She only hooked up with him because she couldn't handle being single and he was there. And since her dad didn't get a chance to disapprove before he died, (she was very much 'daddy's little girl', and the fact that he didn't like me at first was always a problem in her mind, whether she admitted it or not.) she decided to make that relationship permanant. :\

the worst scum, if you ask me, and that was my position before this whole mess started.
what a great story to tell the kids though, about the magical way mommy and daddy met...

11. Yes, a wonderful story. |
|
"Oh yes, I met your father when I was on the rebound. I was still sleeping with my ex though. It was good, so I didn't stop until I was OFFICIALLY dating the new guy though." :P

6. that's creepy, personally.... |
|
i mean i don't get why she called unless she's still hung up on you. or just trying to rub it in...either way...ick.
I'm sorry you are hurting, but it sounds like you are better off without her.

9. oh this isn't a first... |
|
...she also called me on a monday just a few weeks after we broke up to tell me that she was seeing him in the first place, and that she "thought should know."
like a previous replier commented, friday news dump, friday news dump...
thanks, and i'm not so proud to admit i could use a little pity, although i must say, your first theory is interesting.

10. i've been going through different emotions for the past hour and a half |
|
one of them is that same feeling. not that i necessarily was all gung ho about getting back together, but there's just something that strikes a chord, you know?
