So the new cat Siggy went outside for the first time today. I tried to show |
|
him the cat door on the covered porch, but he lost interest when the two dogs stood on the porch and barked at him. I expected him to come on in later, but it got dark and there was no sign of him. I tried calling, and the little bitey cat came running up to get petted (a first for her), but no Siggy. I just checked the front porch again, and he was sitting there. He came in very cautiously when I opened the door. Now here's the funny part: the dogs and the little bitey cat came over and sniffed him to make sure he was OK. (Sapa was comfy sleeping on the couch and wasn't moving for anything.)

2. pets are so funny. You just never know. |

I gave my old kitty his medicine last night and he kind of choked on it. Two of the other cats were on the bed with him, and when he started coughing, both of them got really close in to him and put their noses as near as they could without actually touching him, just hovering, and watching him. When he stopped coughing, they laid back down .
