Regarding contingency money from OR builder reorganizing from Ch. 11 bankruptcy...
Husband is getting all our contingency money back tomorrow via check from the title company.

Thanks to everyone who responded to my plea last week:

We are just going to hunker down and try to get through this difficult time.

2. Thanks, Madrone. Appreciate your post.
Yea, we'll get it before my husband's birthday... June 23rd.

We also got the entire bankruptcy package in the mail yesterday.

Boy, it's too bad that has happened. This company has stood behind all the repairs on our development (built in 1997 and 1998) WAY after the warranty period. They are the 5th largest builder in Oregon.

4. We feel so shaken by this situation. Now we're trying to ponder a way to break the news to our two
realtors. They have worked very hard and done their best.

It was just not meant to be.
