I just had my nails done, Ask Me Anything!

It has been over three years since I had my nails done. They've changed the process since the last time.

I had what they called a pink and white. I have very small nail beds, so there is a little more white than I would have liked. But overall, my hands look much better.

Anybody out there get regular manicures or acrylic nails put on?

with all the art I do, I actually prefer not to have long nails, they just get in the way

I can justify a luxury like this because I don't do other things. I don't go out. I don't go to the movies. I don't eat out.

go out that much except maybe dinner once a week, so yes, it is sooooooo worth it - it does wonders for your psyche!

12. I used to.

But now that I have kiddos, and limited babysitting, I just don't have the time. Since it's mostly just the kids who see me all day, I just don't feel as compelled to. When I (hopefully) rejoin the workforce someday, I may start doing so again.

I will make the time for a pedicure this spring, however. I love the look of a good manicure with a cute pair of sandles. And they usually last longer than a manicure.

17. got my acrylics fixed yesterday

Had lost half of them since the last appt 3 weeks ago-- looked hideous, with my stubby little broken ones alternating with the fakes.

Now they're blood red and beautiful!!
