7. I sometimes think it is only a threat because they don't get love

they follow the "submissive" wife stuff and that basically seems to equate women to property in my experience with dealing with fundies.

I am thinking that it is a threat because it is real love and not a property arrangement as it "should be" according to them :shrug:

maybe its something altogether different, but it is just bizarre. People who love people shouldn't be punished for that.

My parents live in Massachusetts. My dad called me when MA legalized gay marriage, and said "well, i guess your mom and i will have to get divorced now that the sanctity of marriage has been destroyed!" Of course, he was just being a facetious turd. ;)
