I may not get much of a chance to shop. Most of the trip will be spent hiking, rafting and scooting around in those tree top canopies. I don't think there are many stores where I'm going.

Costa Rica has the greatest density of different species of life of any country. Its' biodiversity is incredible. Enjoy the trip.

I'll be spending a day at the La Selva Biological Station. We get to see real biologists in action in their natural habitat - much like a Gary Larsen cartoon.

I am rooming with my daughter's Spanish teacher and he lived there for more than 15 years. I'm in good hands.

14. This is totally unrelated to FISA. This is just a vacation

Spanish students from my daughter's school are going to Costa Rica. I am paying my own way to help chaperon the 13-14 year old kids.

My wife already spent a few weeks in Japan with our daughter a few years back. Now it is my turn to travel with her internationally. We really want to expose her to other cultures and languages and foods so she can appreciate others in this great big and wonderful world.

My high school is going down this Winter break (around Christmas time) and it's also sort of school sponsored. My AP Biology class and Spanish 4/5 class is going, which I am coincidentally both in. Do you hablas el espanol?
