It's a virtual wedding shower for ronnyk and michael!
Edited on Sat Jun-21-08 10:39 AM by Maddy McCall
Since we can't be there to actually give gifts to the soon-to-be newlyweds, let's have a virtual shower. Mint Juleps for everyone!

CONGRATULATIONS,
RONNYK and MICHAEL!

My gift to RonnyK and Michael is the set of mint julep cups that we're drinking from today, along with these sexy silk pajamas for his honeymoon night.

Come on, let's have some fun and shower the couple with gifts! :D

(After the shower, we'll plan the chivaree, because no couple should ever have a honeymoon without a proper chivaree. :D )

4. Chivaree...
It's an old-timey wedding tradition in the South in which guests at the wedding organize after the couple leaves for their honeymoon (in the old-days, couples spent the first night in their new home), and they wait until just the moment they assume the couple is consumating the marriage, at which time they commense to banging pots, pans, tooting trumpets, and generally indulge in the noisiest merrymaking they can dream up.

:D

11. We did it to my roommates when they got married.
they didn't go home though, we all stayed in the hotel overnight because we were trashed. It was in Annapolis on the waterfront during Naval Academy homecoming. Homecoming revelers joined in...it got out of hand. A blast for all.

Okay...I'm ready.
