You would think they would allow you to pick and pay for only the channels you want on cable.

I pay Fox News every month. I don't watch Fox News yet I give them money. MsNBC and CNN can join this pile. (I have BBC news, some German news program and some Japanese financial channel so If Godzilla attacks I'm sure I'll see live coverage.)

I give MTV money even though I would not watch a single program on that station on a bet. (Any parent that has this in the house is guilty of Child Abuse in my book. Might as well buy that Spear's parenting guide)

I get 47 odd sports channels. Honestly I need 1 channel for about 3 hours every Sunday in the fall and winter till lets say Feb. (With a caveat If they offer a channel that shows Olympic events without the annoying human interest stories and myopic America first crap I'll order that as well.)

I don't speak Spanish so the half dozen or so Spanish channels can go. (Though I do find some of thier female hosts memorizing.)

I have not interest in soft-core porn movies without the nudity or Jerry Springer style reality shows so I don't need the WE network or Lifetime movie channel.

I will not buy anything from the shopping stations (Though like the Spanish station sometimes the girls do memorize)

Out side of Talk Soup I don't need E! and there are at least another 45 channels I can't imagine ever watching (Am I the only person who gets an all Catholic Channel and an all Fundamentalist Channel.... Where is my 24 hour stripper factory Pirate movie channel. Fucking Religious Discrimination.

Oh and I haven't watched ABC, CBS or NBC for years. (I still have a couple of shows I DVR on Fox like House and Hell's Kitchen... Hey no ones perfect)

1. I'd like to be able to just drop a quarter in the tv every 15 minutes like a cheap hotel
It would keep me off the damn thing, save for anything important going on live. I'd have spent a few bucks on 9/11, and various local sports games, but that's about it.

Tim Russert would have given them no further revenue from this guy.

2. I wouldn't mind getting that 24-hour stripper factory pirate movie channel either.
If you find a carrier that has THAT channel on it, let me know ASAP!
