Good carbuying websites?
We went to a local dealer here in CT who said that every dealer in CT is adding a $2,500 to $5,000 surcharge on top of the MSRP for the Toyota Prius. The good thing is that there is no sales tax in CT because the car gets over 40mpg.

However, I know you can go to places like AAA and BJ's wholesale club and buy cars for slightly over the invoice price, which is less than the MSRP.

Any other places that are good for buying cars online?

5. kellys blue book too
http://www.kbb.com/

kbb will also link you to dealers and used car lots with current cars available. It can give you a good feel for the going market.

Big SUVs (new and used) are getting significant discounts and/or low interest rate financing, and even cut-rate gasoline. Something to consider. The savings on an SUV may pay for the extra cost of gas for a couple of years.

Lots of good information as far as invoice pricing, specifically having to do with Costco.

8. Thanks - good info
Still hard to find a prius - might have to go for a Civic hybrid, or a Camry hybrid instead.
