My son just asked if he could go to bed. It's not even 7:00pm yet. |

We went to a carnival earlier today, after which we took the kids to the gym and let them swim for a couple of hours. Apparently, we really tuckered the little guy out.
Of course, I did give him permission to go to bed.

He'll be up at 2am at the latest.
Mom. Mom. Mom. Mom. Mom. Mom. Mom. Mom.
I only know this 'cause that's what I'd do. And I'm 40 ... and don't even live with my mom. :-)

When he's tired, he's tired. He'll watch TV for a little while, then read for a little while, then roll over and fall asleep.
My daughter is curled up in Mr. LIW's recliner watching the Food Network.

Wear their little butts out. My parents employed the same strategy with my sister and I.
