The Passion! The movie. The year? Early 1940s
Large groups of children are marched from our public school down to the movie theater. In orderly quiet fashion we are treated to a depiction of "The Passion" in black and white. It was a gory scary movie. I am just a kid. My only exposure to organized religion is with my Quaker Grandparents. They would not have approved. I am sure.
