Anyone have a Mac Mini?
How do you like it? We've got an old G4 and are considering replacing it. Anything you don't like about it?

1. I've got one! I've been using mine for about 6 months,
and it certainly outperforms the PC it replaced. That one was a 7+ year old Dell which happened to be an entry-level model to begin with, so it wasn't like that was much of a competition anyway. I'm not really a "power user" of any kind; nothing much more than e-mail, web surfing and downloads, but I really have not had one complaint about it since I began using it.

Still seems like a great bargain for those needing something basic, assuming you're happy with your current peripherals, or are willing to spend money for new ones.

2. Thanks.
We just got a new flat screen monitor, but the computer is kind of slow. My daughter does movies in iMovie and I use PhotoShop quite a bit. So eventually, it would be nice to get something a bit faster. I think our computer's speed is something like 400Ghz.

4. Build your own PC and then look up OSX86 websites.

;)

You can get the performance of a Mac Pro and you'll be able to run OS X on it, and it'll be way cheaper than buying an actual Mac.

5. I love mine...
It's my secondary computer as the iMac is used in the recording studio. It's great, but discs get really hot in there.
