21. Dunno
I've never heard anybody say "mother-fucker!" and sound as good as Samuel L. Jackson does saying it

"My wallet, it's the one that says bad mother-fucker on it"

16. And a 0%-5% of me watching it.
Most of what Zombie's ever done on film has been pure dreck.

I mean, The Devil's Rejects was sort of engaging when I watched on cable, but that was about it.

19. I dunno... the Halloween remake was pretty interesting...
Nice casting, anyway... Malcolm McDowell as Dr. Loomis was perfect.

20. Yeah, the kid playing him was pretty good, too
I think he's still finding his footing as a director/writer, and will acknowledge his first movie was garbage.

That "House of 1000 Corpses" was a learning experience...

We'll see what happens with him... i think he's got potential.
(he gets extra points from me anyway, because i've enjoyed him musically since '92)

23. I watched "Devil's Rejects" for the zillionth time last week...
..."House" was a beginning, "Devil's" was a peak, "Halloween" was a bold roll of the dice.

I've gotten to the point where I'll watch it if Zombie had a hand in it. I see him the same way I see Neil Young, Frank Zappa and Lou Reed. Their "failed experiments" are almost always better than the "best" of the mainsteam.

Lou actually landed a quote on this subject in "Oui" magazine, years ago (when Hefner owned it): "My shit is worth most people's diamonds."
