For the record, I voted for Nader in 1996 and 2000. Gore won my state.

I'll vote for Kerry or Marvin the Martian, whoever the Dems put up.

The hatred for Nader now is counterproductive. He doesn't matter anymore. That's what my poem was about. Whatever.

I do have a personal problem with Ralph Nader, because he is a shameless hypocrite, and it bothers me that he receives the votes of the idealist progressives when there are worthier people out there for a third party ticket. He is little better than those he condemns.

11. wow don't know that I can say that voting for Nader

(which I did not BTW) caused the violence you are picturing. I do think it is more complex than that, although if Gore had been elected we probably would not have seen the same level of violence, I suspect. Those picures bring back that sick and sad feeling I recall when the bombs were being dropped in Afghanistan and Iraq. (and in Iraq the first time)

I appreciate your rational post. Of course, Ralph Nader personally maimed these people, not Bush, or Cheney, or Rumsfeld, or Blair, or Gephardt, or Daschle (who, I hear, is "deeply saddened"), or Scalia, or Rehnquist, or Thomas, or Frist, or Kerry, or O'Connor, or DeLay, or Hatch, or Biden.

Ralph Nader and Winona LaDuke and Michael Moore and Danny Glover are, of course, murderers in the eyes of Democrats. Not James Baker or Ted Olson. Or Harry Browne. Or Jeb Bush. Or Katherine Harris.
