Bwahahahaha! The WORST picture ever taken of me for your evening amusement:
I present 'the Twit':

I burst out laughing when I saw it. My wife did too. An instant classic for the family album.

:D

Fortunately, my son did not get the 'photographs like a moron' gene:

:loveya:

:hi:

Must be those Western Maine genes making their appearance. :P Incidentally, the scene behind you doesn't look too elitist-Portland-y--where is that? Is it a screen door?

:)

On Edit: The kid is cute as all hell. You're not bad yourself, for someone who photographs like a moron. :P

Returning milk bottles for ice cream.

Great place. They've got a wooden playground full of mock-up trains, cars, planes etc.

24. Smiling Hill! Of course!
Haven't been there in ages, but I'm very familiar with it, or at least how it used to be.

Can you really return their quart glass milk bottles for ice cream? My grandmother gets those exclusively...my parents and I are consumerist fascist pigs who buy Hannaford and Oakhurst milk. :D

28. Those glass bottles are worth about 2 bucks deposit.
We use about 2ish a week, so after a month we've got 16-20 dollars deposit.
Ice cream all around!

As for you, there are screen doors in that elitist area of Ptld where he lives. That's called West End Air Conditioning.

If we're in the area we like to stop by. We're moving to Camden in August, so I guess it will be less often. I did not know you could x-country ski and snow shoe there!
