5. I've loved it for years.

Actually, boxing is much more dangerous than UF. In boxing, they wear huge padded gloves, so they can hit as hard as they want and their hands are protected. In UF, they only wear the half gloves, not nearly as padded. If they hit a guy's skull hard enough to loosen their brain, they'd break their hands. So it's a built-in safety thing.

Anyway, I thought I would hate it, because watching boxing makes me cry. But the first time my ex took me to a party where they had it on pay-per-view, I watched from between my fingers until in the midst of a particularly brutal fight, something flew across the screen, and Joe Rogan, with absolutely no expression in his voice, said, "Tooth came out." And I laughed my ass off. :rofl: That was it for me, I was hooked.

I used to love UFC... but I'm kinda bored with it now. I still can get sucked into the fights if I happen to see that they're on. I only watched the reality show for one season. I wish I'd have picked the season when Forrest Griffin was coaching. Oops.
