My cousin just got an A+ in Civics from a Fundie teacher who hated her |
|
She's a die hard Dem, part of Team Obama and all - going to University of Colorado. I hadn't talked with her since the term ended, but I remember from before she was complaining about her Civics teacher saying he was a rabid Fundie who browbeat students who disagreed with her.
Turns out my cousin got the highest marks in the class, and this is after a few VERY heated exchanges with her and the professor.
Well, kudos for the Fundie Prof for being fair :) And kudos to my cousin for fighting to the death!

1. It happens. You will sometimes get good grades from a teacher you dislike. |

I remember there was this one creative writing professor in college who I just could not stand. Her attitude and teaching style totally rubbed me the wrong way. I also found her very cliquish and that she seemed to play favorites with certain students.
So when it came time for the end of the year evaluations, I just totally ripped into her and trashed her.
And yet, when the report card came, I got a B+. After that, I sort of felt guilty for being so harsh on her.
