"I didn't get a chance to see the show until the final product, and it was clearly not what it could've been...It's going to miss the target a little bit...It's like Indiana Jones without Indiana Jones."

—David Hasselhoff, who played Michael Knight on TV from 1982 to 1986, on the new Knight Rider series being shot without his input

1. Healthy ego? Sure. But how can you argue with the facts?
It's gonna tank and you know it's gonna tank. You just can't make a real Knight Rider without The Hoff running around in his little red swim trunks, talking into his wrist watch, and doing weekly mouth to mouth rescues on some 2nd rate Pamela Anderson look alike.

3. Apparently that lame-arse tv movie gathered enough audience share to justify the series...
No doubt it'll tank.

You know, when hollywuss runs out of things to remake, will they come up with something new... or recycle recycled material?!

"The New New Monkees" is startin' to look reeeeeeeeeal good right now... :sarcasm:

4. I saw parts of it. It looked like
a protracted boring Ford advertisement to me, and not a particularly good one either. Was there even a plot? (Mind you, I like Fords just fine, but when practically every stinking vehicle in the show is a model Ford is pushing in their ads, something's rotten in Denmark...)
