A bird just landed on my window sil and scared the bejesus out of me!
I was just sitting here minding my own business and trying to get a little homework done when out of the blue I heard this loud HOOOOOOP HOOOOOOP sound. I swear it sounded like it was right behind my shoulder, which it kind of was only 10 feet away and on the other side of the screen. Some pigeon-looking bird was HOOOOOOPing away and a few minutes later another bird joined him and they started pecking away at each other. They did that for another minute until a car door slammed and scared them both away.

Ahhh, nature

4. Heh... must be some loud HOOPing.
I have two birds that live in a tree right by my balcony. They like to perch on the railing or my satellite dish. One of them will sit there for hours. Chirping away (he sees my kitty, I think he's trying to warn other birds). The other will only stay there briefly before taking food back to their nest. I swear they seem to enjoy taunting my kitty and seeing her get all worked up watching them through the glass door. :P

5. I usually have little birds land on the ledge and their chirping is nice and relaxing
but this one was a pretty big bird and I think was on a serious booty call mission cause he was getting his message OUT! As long as they don't peck at my new screen I don't mind them dropping by :P
