I got a ticket from a smartass cop in Iowa.

I got ticketed for not using a blinker. I said to the cop, "I'm sorry, officer. Nobody uses their signals where I live in Illinois." Him: "Well, that's what we're trying to prevent...becoming Illinois." :rofl:

5. I remember reading in a magazine police officer's favorite

responses when they pulled people over. The one I really remember is an officer hide behind a large billboard on a highway to watch for speeders. After a few hours a kid flew by. When the officer walked up to the car window he said "Son, I've been waiting for you all morning." The kid replied "I got here as fast as I could."
The cop just gave him a warning.

6. That sucks

I was able to talk my way out of a speeding ticket in Sturbridge Mass a few weeks ago. I was pulled for going 68 in a 50. The officer asked me why I was going so fast. I just looked straight at him and said because I am a dumb ass. He busted out laughing and gave me a warning. I learned years ago to just admit being an idiot and most of the time they let you off with a warning.
