here is a calculator:

it takes me nearly 7 hours, good thing that a full tank will last nearly a month in my xterra

1. I don't want to know
And I'm sure my husband wants to know less. It cost him $99 to fill up today - near empty and he drives a Tahoe (and yes, he needs it for his job).

$4.31 a gallon - and around here, that's not even too bad. :banghead:

2. 1.85 hours
Thankfully, my commute is six miles round trip each day, if I drive. Sometimes, if the weather's good, I'll bike it.

I also live within five miles of just about anything I need (food, clothing, etc.), so I do very little driving. I fill my tank about once a month on average.

3. Just over 2 hours
for $4.70/gal gas.

I'm far luckier than most, especially since I usually take public transportation.

5. At my $30/hr fee-two hours
Course that lasts me 3 weeks to a month. But lately I've only averaged about 4 hours work a week.

7. I am retired
So I don't know an hourly amount, but also, because we aren't working we can control whether we drive anywhere or not.

8. Uh, at my standard billing rate, about 20 minutes. Sorry. But before you get
all worked up, remember that when you own a business, not all of your time is billable.

And our fill-ups happen about once every three weeks, because we live in town and my office is in the house.

9. Right, that's why I used the "annual salary" choice instead.
My office is 1.8 miles away from where I live and all my grocery shopping and other weekly shopping is within a 2 mile radius, so I don't have to fill up much either.
