A funny thing happened at the book store |
|
Ok so I went to the bookstore in the mall today, and took my younger brother along with me. My brother has been sick with a virus, but seemed well enough to tag along. Anyway while inside the book store, browsing at the new edition section my brother threw up all over the rack. When I looked at what it was he threw up on I noticed that it was Sean Hannity's book "Let Freedom Ring." I hope this is an omen. Anyway the manager of the store got so angry, until she saw it was a kid that had done the damage. She tried to make me purchase the book, but I refused.
In the end she ended up throwing it in the trash, which I couldn't help but laugh at the irony. Cause that is just where that book belongs, in the trash.

"You break it, you buy it" is BULLSHIT.
THAT IS WHY THEY HAVE INSURANCE!!! I had a store manager try to make me buy a $75 lamp that was on a shelf at eye-level to a 3-year-old when my niece (the 3-year-old in question) bumped into the table and knocked it over. She was not being rambunctious or running around. It was an accident. It happens. She said I was breaking the law. I whipped out my cell phone and said, "Great. I'll call the police on myself RIGHT FUCKING NOW." She backed down; she knew she was full of shit.
Of course, my attitude is for real accidents. If you INTENTIONALLY break a merchant's property, that's very different.
Good for you for standing up!!

I'm just glad he did it in the store and not in my car, cause he would have been walking home then.

9. I will see what I can do about Ann Coulter |
|
I don't know if I will be able to go back to that store for a while. The manager there rolls her eyes at me everytime I ask for something on anti-bush, or anti- right wing.

Is it me, or does Hannity look totally high on the cover? I saw it yesterday and laughed out loud in the middle of the store.
