Ever sit in really uncomfortable theatre seats?

Last night was my daughter's dance recital - there were 23 dances before the intermission and 23 dances after. I have some pain issues with my artificial hip and even though we got up and walked around during the intermission, I was in excruciating pain by the end of the night.

I so wish my daughter's dance had been before the intermission, as we would have left at the intermission time.
