1. Neat.
Is it actually about knitting and anarchism?

2. I think it's more like anarchist-style knitting, but
I will let you know once I have it in my hands. :)

3. I just got a bunch of used books for real cheap from some little bookstore I found online...
... http://www.xenithbooksellers.com/">Xenu Booksellers or something like that. Name sounds kinda suspicious... like it's a front for Scientology or somethin'. :P

8. You can still bring the metals on planes...
The TSA prefers circs to straights though, or so I hear. Bamboo is a safe bet, either way. :)

9. she's totally digging the bamboo ones right now, i'm sure you'd understand
i don't but that's to be expected. She's going to try once again to teach me, this time i'm really going to give it more than 10 minutes.

10. The bamboo is less slippy with certain fibers, and it has some give, so
it doesn't stress your joints as much. (See my Cubital Tunnel Syndrome thread).

I dig kitting with Bamboo.

And yes! Stick with it...Then we can be knitting buddies! :bounce:

12. coolio
I'll have to find out if my girlfriend has it. If not, it may be a Christmas present. She's been super into knitting over the last year, and is now making her own yarn and stuff. I'm always telling her that knitting from patterns is for squares, and free-style is the way to go. That's how I crochet. I've made scrotum-warmers, dog hats, and hot dog holders, all totally free-style, not even knowing what I was going to finish having made when I started.
