I have a sun drenched spot of dirt in the back about 10 feet by 10 feet that I envision as perfect for fake grass. Real grass would require too much water and I've got lots of drought tolerant plants elsewhere..... What's the price installed? What brand you recommend? How complcated is it to put in? I saw this really nice fake stuff a local mall. You could lie on it like a smooth carpet and it did not have those big bits ground up tire that you see on some athletic fields.

1. You can just make that stuff yourself out of old toothbrushes and green dye.
I know a guy out in the desert who did it and you'd swear youre walking around on a patch of clover.

3. friend did it for his front yard, 22k
:wow: i think he should've negotiated and probably could have gotten a lot lower price.

at the right price i think it's a good idea, however, and looks pretty good.

there was news that some artificial turf has lead and other contaminants so that may be a consideration.
