Google has immortalized me...
What are the chances? When I Google-Map my work location, look at the street view and head east 3 clicks, turn right, and lo and behold. That's me, driving my little, blue Suzuki. I think this was captured only a few weeks ago on a Friday, (I can tell cause I'm wearing a t-shirt).

Seems kinda weird in a "Big Brother" sort of way. I guess the odds of actually becoming part of the "Google scenery" are rare when related to something like your work location or home. I should play the lotto this week!

2. I googled my 'hood in NYC and saw a friend...
...who is a homeless guy named Al who hangs out by my building and has done for years. It wasn't exactly surprising, but it was kind of unsettling nonetheless.

5. Whoa!
It's one thing to understand this is possible another thing to see yourself. I just looked at the street view of my home and you can get close enough to about read my license plate (not posting that : ) )

Which means I was home if I had happened to be sitting on my stoop or something I would've been in the pic.

7. Yep! Probably am/ I've made a number of public statements against
bush in public. I've made it clear that I think he and his administration are nothing more than a group of war criminals. They should all be hung.

9. Lucky!
I kept looking through all the areas I'm mostly at hoping to find myself, but I haven't. :(

And I'm not at home when they rolled by, so who knows.

11. Howdy neighbor!

I live close by - we just discovered the street view the other day, and we could clearly see our very distinctive VW Vanagon outside our house! :o

:hi:
