Haven't been feeling well, but tonight was nice. |

The last month or so I haven't been able to eat properly. Thought at first it was a stomach virus, it isn't obviously after over a month. I've lost like 25 lbs, SWEET! But still, not being able to eat more than a bite or two a day isn't good. No energy, discomfort etc. Going to get a CT scan on Tuesday with probably more tests to follow.
But...
My kids are with friends this weekend camping and enjoying themselves. My wife and I decided to take the opportunity to go out, something we NEVER get to do. We went to a local Asian restaurant. I can't eat much, but I had some great spicy soup with shrimp and veggies. Some of an appetizer of crispy duck with tamarind sauce, red onions and mixed greens and then a little bit her Pad Thai. I drank a lot of Oolong tea and water.
We then went to 'downtown' Somerville New Jersey where they had a bunch of old cars on the street with their owners showing them off, music etc and walked around a bit. Went into a bar, had a martini, and walked around some more.
Was nice and relaxing. Love my kids, but DAMN! was so nice to just spend some time with my wife. Now I'm relaxing with a fine cuban cigar, (partagas series D number 4) a glass of Russian vodka from the freezer and a bowl (of Rice Krispies wink)
Might even see a movie tomorrow!
Peace.

And Somerville is a cool little town. Our friends live in Bridgewater and they've taken us out to dinner in Somerville- nice Italian joint, can't remember the name.
Hope your gut problem is resolved soon and easily. Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

My wife used to live in Bridgewater with her parents. We live in Piscataway. Haven't walked that downtown area in years. Nice to do once in a while. Not as nice as where I used to like to walk in New Haven, but nice enough when you need to get out. :)
