Even though it is eight minutes long... it has one of the longest inros ever. :o The singing part begins at about four and half minutes. :hi:

3. I'm still kind of lukewarm toward it.
I haven't decided whether or not I like it yet. I've been trying to like it, but something's holding me back a little bit.

Plus I'm a Washingtonian, I've been listening to Death Cab since forever. :silly:

6. Well lah-de-dah!
 :P

The song is pretty good, but something about my brain just doesn't want to like it yet. Maybe I need a drink or seven...

8. I think it's their habit of picking...
absolutely the worst songs on an album as the singles. Even as good as this is...Grapevine Fires and Your New Twin-sized Bed are just better and should have been the singles.

5. Did you buy the album yet?
I love it...it's no Transatlanticism, but Narrow Stairs is a pretty solid offering.

11. It's good...but I think this might have been the worst single pick possible.
It's just too long and it lacks the storytelling aspect of some of their better early work. It's not radio-friendly. They play a cut version on the radio and it pisses me off.

10. I think one of their songs has a nice, earworm-esque melody
and I play the youtube video of it quite a bit but the rest of their stuff that I have listened to seems bland and doesn't grab me. I am strange with music sometimes. For example, there are four Oasis songs I would place on my top 20 most favorite songs of all time list but all the rest of their stuff I don't like at all, but just those four I could play over and over and over and over.

I would check this song out but I don't feel like searching for headphones which I would have to do where I am at. :hi:

13. I agree on the Oasis thing.
I think they have four or five songs that I love and the rest are just 'eh.'

And don't you talk to me about earwroms, damn you, do you know that I've had "The Sick" stuck in my head ever since you posted that video in that thread of mine, huh, huh? :P

17. HA, I LOVE that Pig song. it's so thumpy.
the Death Cab song I love is Soul meets Body. I actually haven't heard enough of theirs to actually form a fair opinion of them. I should say nothing really until I listen to more. they aren't normally my style of music. I like Industrial or Punk or the Dandy Warhols.

Of Death Cab I love I Will Follow You Into The Dark, such a sad, sweet song. It's good stuff. :)
