No one can breathe, or open the fridge, or heat up the toaster, |

because my house is the *perfect* temperature right now. Perfect. It's so nice outside today. The whole next week is supposed to be in the high 70's to low 80's. It rained like crazy last night and I opened the windows and it smelled like heaven.
Ahhhhh! I wish it could be like this forever! It will probably snow in a month.
:P

4. It is disallowed, in fact. |

That's what the outdoors are for. No one can taint my interior air.

5. Can I be your new friend and come and visit?? |
|
Oh to open a window or to be able to step outside!!
The major wildfire in the state of CA is right across the lake from me.
Our entire house and neighborhood smells like a coal bin.
And unlike the past, when huge fires brought on some rain, the skies have not shed a drop yet. There is only 5% containment. So more bad air to come.

9. IS a slip and slide one of those things |
|
You put on the driveway and then use a hose to allow the kids (or inebriated adults) slide up and down the driveway all afternoon??
I am great at improvising girl-ee drinks. At least, I am good at it till I get too inebriated to stand around pouring dirnks. Then I just hand out the beers.
Anyway the air finally started to clear last night around seven Pm - so far I don't need to escape. (Still early in fire season - hope that I don't need to take you up on you accepting my self invitation to your living room couch!)
It is so great being outside and not feeling like you will collapse. And seeing kids back out on their bikes.
And birds that can find the strength to fly in the air!
