I so needed a chocolate fix, I'm eating the semi-sweet chips I had for making cookies. I'm SO ashamed!
Who cares? It's still chocolate, and it's still going to the same place!

And I'm getting a roll of Chocolate chip cookie dough next week, so I won't actually be desperate for the chips themselves! :)

2. I have SOOOOO done that before! |
|
It was the only chocolate we had in the house at the time. Desperate times, desperate measures, and all that.
At the moment I'm trying to stay away from the bag of Chips Ahoy cookies my SIL bought for my son today. They are like friggin' crack to me...and they're right...over...there...GAAAAH!!

Do they still make the ones with the colored M&Ms in them? I have a weakness for Oreos when I go to actually buy cookies--I decided I'm not elitist--one day I'm eating Oreos, the next day, Chocolate Biscotti. As long as it's chocolate, it doesn't matter much beyond that.
On the other hand, I despise the cordial chocolate covered cherries--they're too damned sweet! Those are the ones with the white stuff in them that gives you a toothache just looking at them. The only good ones are the all-liquid ones. Mmmmmm....
I wonder--will I dream of something sweet and fun tonight? Or will I end up with a toothache in the morning?

5. Colored M&Ms? Intriguing! |
|
I don't think I've seen those around. Then again, I'm somewhat of a purist--I only like the original crunchy Chips Ahoy, not the soft ones, not the mini ones, etc. Of course, if somebody left a bag of ANY of them on my doorstep, I wouldn't exactly throw them out or anything.
MG Jr. hit grandma up for a bag of Oreos yesterday. I did partake of those as well. Chocolate is chocolate, and cookies are cookies, after all. Hence the reason I refuse to have them in my house--if they're there, I'm a-gonna eat 'em!
I am so weak.
I'm with you on the cherries--that white gunk is just filler. I can't bear Cadbury Creme Eggs either, for the same reason. However, Cadbury Caramel Eggs never see the light of day around me.

6. I will be joining you in purgatory because I've done the same |

sin. Better eat up and run out to stock up on the chips because: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=389x3537368Indonesia's cocoa output will fall below 500,000 tonnes this year as a deadly fungal disease spreads in the main producing island, the head of the country's cocoa producers' body said.
