Do you say "Thank God" or "Thanks, God"?

1. I say, "Thank goodness" when something goes the way I

want it to go. When I believed in god I said thank god, but not anymore.

for what happens. So, I don't blame or praise "Q."

I say "Thank God" which means to me that I thank the deity for whatever...

It's more emphatic to me than "thank goodness."
