A bittorent download.
Sounds like it's one of those "camcorder pirated" movies, some guy sneaks a camcorder into a first-run movie and tapes the movie.
Looks like crap, and the sound is horrible. But people will buy these pirated movies.

that go around selling bootlegs in the truck stops. They sell them for $5 per movie or 5 movies for $20.
