Firefox 3 freakin' ROCKS!!!!
Are you listening, Peggy?

I downloaded it earlier tonight, and I'm exploring (pardon the pun)
it's new features. So far, I'm impressed. Faster launch, faster downloads
(although I'll have to check that one out on a slow connection), and even MORE
secure. Imagine that!

A few, VERY few, users have reported bugs, but usually it's the result of, um,
to be kind, user error.

Check it out. You'll be glad you did.

:wow:

2. My dear liberaltrucker!
I am listening, baby!

How'd you know I was here, anyhow?

You must be psychic!

KW is going to give me a tutorial, one of these days, OK????

I always get into trouble when I try to download these things by myself, and so.......

It'll happen, but later!

:loveya:

10. You don't need a tutorial to experience many of the advantages:
• less memory usage
• improved security
• faster page loads
• popup blocking
• better privacy control

The only thing you'll notice is that favorites are now called bookmarks.

You will still have IE around and you can use either, even both at the same time.

But I downloaded just a couple hours ago.

Guess I have a lot to learn. LTwife calls me supergeek for a reason.

11. Tell me this if you can...getting Thunderbird emails...
I used to be able to go to Tools and had an add on to get my email from Thunderbird. Firefox 3 does not support the add on I used to use...any ideas?

Thank you

15. got a question...this is something i dont like about FF3
FF2 did not display your bookmarks in the URL bar history list when you clicked on the down arrow at the far right.

In FF3, it will display a part of your bookmarks, as well as the sites you have recently visited.

Is there any way to not display any of your bookmarks in the url history? It's ok if you have recently visited the bookmark, but i don't want to see them if i havent visited them.

I understand your not liking it because I didn't like it at first either. After using it for awhile, I've realized it is quite handy. Just want to mention it.

In any case, if you don't want to use it:

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/6227

Then type

about:config

in the URL bar and change this option

browser.urlbar.matchOnlyTyped=

to "true"

20. Guess I'm the dissenting opinion here
I'm a long time Firefox user, (in fact I was using Mozilla browsers even before Firebird, which became Firefox) but this 3.0 thing just slowed to a crawl on my computer. It made my internet radio streams skip like an old record on a $25 turntable, and that was probably more intolerable than the slow page loading. I went back to 2.0 for now.
