When I have customers check their internet connections, I usually tell them to try cnn.com
Just because it's simple and the server is reliable. I just suggested it to a customer and he laughed at me and told me he'd never go to CNN. When I asked why he said it was because he was very conservative and preferred Fox News. Oh how I wish I could have engaged him in further political discussion. Nice enough guy, he said if I was ever in there area I'd have a place to stay if I needed it but I'm sure once he saw the "FUCK WAR" button on my jacket he'd change his tone. Ahh, this job can be amusing sometimes.
