My husband was accosted in a parking lot over my Obama bumpersticker.

Some random man tried to get into it with my husband, even after he told him that "it's my wife's car; I'm don't even like Obama."

Five years with political bumperstickers and no one has ever, ever given me any crap. My husband drives my car and gets ragged on by someone he probably agrees with.

He got ragingly mad at the guy and told him "my wife is entitled to her own opinion!" and the man STILL kept harrassing him!

Political karma.
He should just give up and be a Democrat, already.

3. I found it amusing that my conservative husband
got chewed out by another conservative, and got a nice window into the thinking of some of his counterparts of similar political persuasion.

He only THINKS he's a Republican, I swear. One of these days, he's gonna switch teams. I know it.

2. Now you need to find where that guy lives, and let JackMN in the window while he's not home,
with fingerpaints, after giving him a Jolt.

:D

4. And risk getting the stench of Republicanism on him?
I think not!

Seriously, I don't know what the guy was thinking, anyway. He's completely outnumbered here. I think my county typically votes something like 70% Democratic.

Lara, I feel for your husband, I was confronted by an Irate repuglicon the other day myself, however my thread did not go as well as yours will.

25. I have the perfect weapon against deer attacks.
A Ford Focus.

I have had the regret of having to kill two fine deer specimens at the wheel of my Ford Focus. One I ploughed into at 60mph when it darted out behind a bridge on a main expressway. Smashed the windscreen, wrecked the bonnet, deployed the airbags. $4,500 of damage.

The second deer was on a local road, I was going 30mph. No damage to the car, but the deer made it to the edge of the woods.

I've killed more deer in my car than I ever will have with a gun.

(moot point: I don't own a gun, don't like guns, scared of guns, but if you want one then go right ahead. just don't shoot me or my family or i will hunt you down anyway. With a Ford Focus. Or if that's not available a Town and Country.)

8. I had a "Proud to Live in a Blue State" bumper sticker
which I thought was pretty non-inflammatory. Some men I worked with saw it and gave me a lecture about the evils of Hillary Clinton... who I didn't even support. The Republicans think of her as ultra-liberal, which is really amusing.

You vegans think you're all part of a great big team even more than the rethugs. :-)

Or the idea presents itself that you could snap their necks, maybe...

And count your blessings for where you live. You've been to my house - so you know that while I live in a blue state, I somehow have managed to rent a home in the most redneck area of New Jersey. Yee-haw!

stickers on it. I was sort of hoping for something like what you described to happen to him, but alas, I was not so fortunate. :)

I love the karmic aspects of your story. Very cute.
