It appears there is a foundation right where my damn fence is going!
My husband and my BIL started digging post holes to put in The Fence That Will Be Erected If My Husband Ever Wants To Be Again, and about two feet down they hit concrete or something. Apparently there was once a different house on our lot, and the foundation is RIGHT where the fence needs to go.

I just want my fence up. I am tired of dragging JackMN away from the street on his scooter of havoc.

1. Just get your husband some dynamite and tell him to deal with it.

3. Where do I get dynamite?
That's a pisser, because my husband's aunt and uncle shot off about $1,000 worth of illegal fireworks on Saturday, and I bet SOME kind of explosive they had could have been put to better use in my post holes!

6. If you will recall, we do not have murdering spiders here.
Although on the flip side, it was like 94 degrees here yesterday and now it's about 55.

Hmph.

18. If the corner posts can be sunk
I'd stay with the project. At the two foot point, I'd double up on the concrete, and I'd use a buttress at every other post.
