Losing my religion--REM

Oh, life is bigger
It's bigger than you
And you are not me
The lengths that I will go to
The distance in your eyes
Oh no, I've said too much
I set it up

(chorus)
That's me in the corner
That's me in the spotlight, I'm
Losing my religion
Trying to keep up with you
And I don't know if I can do it
Oh no, I've said too much
I haven't said enough
I thought that I heard you laughing
I thought that I heard you sing
I think I thought I saw you try

Every whisper
Of every waking hour I'm
Choosing my confessions
Trying to keep an eye on you
Like a hurt lost and blinded fool, fool
Oh no, I've said too much
I set it up
Consider this
Consider this
The hint of the century
Consider this
The slip that brought me
To my knees failed
What if all these fantasies
Come flailing around
Now I've said too much
I thought that I heard you laughing
I thought that I heard you sing
I think I thought I saw you try

But that was just a dream
That was just a dream

(repeat chorus)

But that was just a dream
Try, cry, why try?
That was just a dream
Just a dream, just a dream

Just a fucking dream

:(
Dream

6. Theoretical physicists and Richard Bach
would agree

and maybe there is a universal truth in that. One that is incomprehensible to me, but I don't question the possibility that it is true because I don't know.

Certainly my world, is viewed through my lenses (visual, auditory, spatial, sensory, etc. ) and those lenses cause my perceptions of what happens to be different than someone elses perceptions. Is it possible that I'm right? Or that all of us are right.

also, recently read an interview with a theoreticaly physicist... he pointed out that we are all moving away from the center of the universe, the point of "big bang" at the speed of light. So there could be many alternate realities all happening at once in the same space but we are moving too fast to notice or see what might be going on. Deep for me, but interesting.
