Church Choir Reunion...Advice needed.
When I was in Jr. High and High School, I was a member of the Baptist CHurch. I was in the youth choir, Master Design Choir. This year for a fund raiser for the mission trip, they're having a reunion talent show. My question is, should I go? I had a great time, being stupid and completely clueless at the time. The people were nice, and I credit the Music Director with my not ending up pregnant, on drugs or dead(I had no adult supervision half of my junior year, all of my senior year. He and his wife let me come over for dinner and basically stepped in where my mom wasn't able to help). Should I go back and see people who will think i'm the same person that I was back then, or should I skip it and just send my favorite memory? Any advice would be great.

1. Go. They won't think you're the same person,
they'll be wanting to see how you've changed. It'll be fun showing them who you are....and they'll enjoy that too.

2. Go.
Seriously. You'll enjoy it, and so will everyone else. Don't miss this opportunity.

3. Did you love it while you were there?
If you did, GO. My choir's having a similar show this year and I can't participate, I can't even go to see the show, and I wish like hell that I could.

Don't worry about what anyone might think of who you are now. You may be surprised -- you may meet some old friends who also grew up and started thinking for themselves.

4. It depends on what you think of....
the baptist church now. My advice is to stay away if you're glad that you're out of that situation, but I'm very anti-conservative- religion. They may be even more sanctimonious than before.

I still sing in my church, nothing has changed (I think) since you sang.. I don't see why you shouldn't go
