How many inside jokes in WALL-E did you notice?
Several references made me laugh:

- Twinkies are still fresh after 700 years
- The triple-meaning of the Buy 'n Large corporation (quadruple if it's a reference to Wal-Mart)
- The mushroom cloud in the distance with the cockroach in the foreground
- The last piece of debris that clears away from WALL-E as he leaves Earth's atmosphere is the Russian satellite Sputnik
- The autopilot on the ship had the same eye as HAL 9000 from 2001:A Space Odyssey

imdb provided these:

- When WALL-E is fully charged by the sun, he makes the same "boot up" sound that Apple computers have made since the earliest Macintosh system
- The captain of the Axiom refers to the autopilot as 'Otto'; this was the name of the autopilot in Airplane (not sure I agree with this one)

Any others you saw?

At one point, either Wall-E or Eve is hanging from one of the air locks as the air rushed out....That scene is taken directly from a classic science-horror film called.."Aliens"..Ripley is hanging out of the airlock in the exact same way as you see in Wall-E..

..as if that were not enough..........

.........guess who voices the computer who is really the bad guy in the movie? right..Sigourney Weaver--so guess what movie she is famous for....that's right...Aliens..... .don't believe?
here is a link. look for voice of ships computer..:
