Clergy, Politicians and Career Military Officers |

Based upon no sound scientific evidence, I have observed that these 3 careers attract sociopaths.
I have had the opportunity to know and work closely with VERY successful people in all 3 of these groups, and I have yet to find a single exception. Perhaps the common thread is the desire to manipulate and undeserved status.

one is compelled to look at humanity as a whole, or at least in large chunks, rather than as individuals.
God or circumstance allows or causes people to die and suffer and injustice to exist; it's just a fact of human life on earth. Most of us never feel compelled to make peace with that fact.
I suppose "making peace with that fact" comes easier for some than others. Too easy, for some.
