This is my first journal and I'm not even sure it works.
I just watched the video of Ted Kennedy getting a standing ovation when he returned to the Senate.

However much some Senators (and I'm sure there's a lot) disagree with him, they respect the work he's done and also respect the fact that he's picked up the mantle that his family expects.

This man lost two brothers in the service of their country. And for him to be denigrated by the assholes on the right is just not acceptable. Granted he made a mistake back in 1969(?). But he's more than made up for it.

Ted Kennedy has always had the welfare of the American people first and foremost in his mind. I will never be afraid of my government as long as a Kennedy is in one of the Houses of Congress.

Sorry I can't say that about the Bush family.

Okay. This is just a test b/c I've never done a journal before. But I thought this was a proper subject to write about my first time.
