Pru had a Chocolate Chip Cookie yesterday... |

Edited on Wed Jul-09-08 06:47 PM by YellowRubberDuckie
(Pru is my dachshund) Damn, it scared the hell of out me. I accidentally left a bag of Chesapeakes lying on the end table between our recliners. It had one cookie in it. When I walked in the door, I found the bag ripped to shreds. No cookie anywhere. She seems fine. She was a little freaked because we forgot and the pest control guys came in, but she is fine. Do your animals get into stuff? I'm curious about you guys' dogs. Pru will eat anything and it freaks me out. Duckie

1. My one dog will eat anything I leave within her reach. |
|
She ate half a bag of cookies once, and was fine. Not all dogs have problems with chocolate. It's just that it is impossible to tell which ones do unless they eat it and get sick. :(

the sheltie formerly known as Keltie that died of seizures got into everything
she would raid chocolate like nobody's business and she was a freaking little climber.
typical routine, she'd raid chocolate, go in her crate for the night, or day, and there would be a horrible poop fest :puke:
If chocolate wasn't put up way out of reach she would get it

4. There were only a few chunks of chocolate in the cookie. |
|
That's the good news. She doesn't seem to be affected at all by it, though, THANK GOD. I'm sorry Keltie died. Wait, you had a dog named Keltie the Sheltie? Oh, groan! Why am I not surprised?
