Poll question: On the flip side: best (recent) celebrity baby names? |
|
Edited on Thu Jul-10-08 06:30 AM by BlueIris
Again, I'm going with the names of kids who have been born to celebs/personalities in recent years.

2. Not enamored with any of them |
|
Gere's kids have pretty boring names. I might go with Britney Spears, believe it or not.

3. I voted for Hazel and Phin. I think those are actually pretty good. |
|
Spears' firstborn has a decent name. Too bad he has such a piece of shit for a mother.

4. One of the very newest celeb babies is |
|
Nicole Kidman's daughter Sunday Rose, a name which pairs the offbeat with the traditional - which I sort of like. Of the choices you listed, I guess I like Sean Preston the best.

8. I put Sunday Rose (which I think is one of the worst names ever) in one of my other polls. |
|
The first one I did, on worst celeb baby names of the recent past.
Sunday Rose Kidman-Urban. God. How awful.

5. John David and Lucy Elizabeth, definitely. I am such a reactionary old fashioned |
|
person when it comes to names.
It is so hard to smile and say that's nice when people tell you their children's names these days.

One trend I really hate is boy names for girls. I know a woman who named her 3 kids Ryan, Weston & Chandler. Guess which one is the boy?
But, on this list, I like Violet, too. That was my grandmother's name. And Stella is pretty!

7. Stella is a derivative of Estelle, which means 'Star' In Spanish it is Estrella |
|
An older lady in my litte town was named Estelle we all loved her.

9. Hey, look at all those votes for Violet (one of my faves ever). |
|
The only drawback to that one is that now I can't name my own kid Violet.
