I got someone's stimulus check

OK, so I checked my mailbox this morning and got what looks to be a stimulus check addressed to someone who does not live at my apartment. Probably a former tenant, oddly it's the first time I've received mail addressed to this person. So what do I do with it??? :shrug:

You could ask the Apt mgr if he knows the person

I'm not a lawyer, but I'd advise against trying to cash it.

If nobody knows the person, just scribble "return to sender, address unknown, no such number, no such zone" and drop it in a mailbox.

I tried looking up the person's name in the off-chance they live in the area, but no luck.
